A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed an overnight visit from my brother, Aaron. He saw Sophie when she was a few weeks old but she was able to enjoy his visit a lot more this time. She seemed to really love playing with him - he may give Kyle and Peter a run for their money as the "Fun Uncle." 
A few days later we got to see Uncle Pete and Aunt Jenny for a little bit. 
Jen gave Sophie a quick little physical and I think she got pretty good marks (including "hyperactive bowel sounds," which we understood better a couple of hours later when Erik got the privilege of changing her diaper). It's hard not to live closer to our family, but it's such a blessing when we get to see them.
